Yellow Springs PTO Strengthening our schools by uniting families and teachers through active participation and shared resources. What We Do The Yellow Springs Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is an all-volunteer nonprofit 501c3 organization that strives to support students, families, and teachers. The PTO works to ensure that all Yellow Springs Schools students have access to full participation in school, class, and grade-wide activities. This mission is carried out through fundraising and designing events that support Yellow Springs teachers, classes, kids, and our community. Last year, through our Street Fair fundraisers and the gifts of our Bulldog Backers, PTO funded over $24,000 of educational materials, experiences, teacher supports, and events. The money we raise goes right to where it makes a difference: our kids' educational experiences. Please find a way to join us! Get Involved Participate Join us at our exciting PTO events that bring Yellow Springs families, students, and teachers together throughout the year. From community celebrations to school fundraisers, every event helps strengthen our school community while supporting enriching educational experiences for our students. Volunteer Volunteer with us! Whether you can give a few hours at an event or lend your talents to support ongoing initiatives, every contribution helps strengthen the Yellow Springs Schools community and enrich the experience of our students and teachers. Donate Donate! Your financial support directly funds student experiences, classroom resources, teacher support, and programs that enrich the educational journey of every Yellow Springs student. $14k+ Street Fair Parking Thanks to our amazing volunteers, we have funded most of our budget through Street Fair Parking! The Difference We Make $3,500 Core Experiences Each grade band in grades K–6 receives $500 from the PTO to support a core educational experience that enriches student learning and builds community beyond the classroom. 73 School Supply Kits Thanks to generous donations from our community, the PTO was able to disperse 73 school supply kits to students in need. - About Us | YellowSpringsPTO
Supporting Every Bulldog We are a dedicated group of volunteers, parents, and teachers working together as a nonprofit 501c3 organization. Our mission is to enhance the educational journey for all Yellow Springs students by funding classroom resources, field trips, and events that bring our school community together. Simply Put, You Belong Here Whether you're a parent, guardian, teacher, staff member, or a supportive neighbor in Yellow Springs, you are already part of our team. Joining the PTO has absolutely no special requirements—no experience needed, no pressure, just your presence. By becoming a member, you help provide the resources and voices needed to enrich our students' daily lives and show our staff they are truly valued. Your involvement, however small, matters deeply to our village's inclusive school community. What We Fund Your support directly enhances the educational experience for every student in Yellow Springs. Here are the core areas where PTO funding makes a daily impact. Classroom Supplies From art materials to specialty science kits, we ensure teachers have the tools they need without reaching into their own pockets. Field Trips We help cover admission fees to make sure every student can experience hands-on learning outside the classroom. Teacher Appreciation Classroom supplies, snacks, luncheons, and other supports tell our educators that they are valued members of our school community. Student Events From dance parties to seasonal festivals, we fund the 'just for fun' moments that create lifelong school memories. Enrichment We bring in guest speakers, artists, and specialized workshops that expand horizons beyond the standard curriculum. Community Aid The PTO helps ensure equitable access by discreetly funding fees or gear for students and families who need a little extra support. How Can You Help? We know your time is precious. Whether you have five minutes to share an idea or a few hours to help at an event, every bit of support helps our Yellow Springs students thrive. Our community is built on simple, welcoming ways to get involved that fit your busy life. Join: Become a member—no special requirements, just your presence.
